Models awaiting confirmation for CFW
May 29th, 2009
Just over a week left till one of the largest annual Caribbean events take place, excitement and anticipations are soaring high. Caribbean Fashion Week (CFW) is now entering it’s ninth successive year, representing the best in regional and international fashion. This year CFW will be located at the National Sports Centre, Kingston, Jamaica, between the 10th and 15th of June. Audiences can expect live performances from Kelly Rowland, Tami Chynn, Cherine Anderson and D’Angel. Other star guest appearances include Eve representing her Fetish clothing line and Nia Long.
A few designers such as Gavin Douglas (UK) have already confirmed their participation this year although Pulse Investments the organizers of the event have not yet released official details on which designers they will feature.
As designers put the finishing touches to their collections models are still awaiting confirmation from Pulse of their attendance. I-FUSE asked Fallon Harris if she will be modelling this year;
“nobody knows yet who will be on the CFW catwalk. Some pulse girls up to Wednesday were speculating that it might even be mid-next week before Pulse tells us who are the select few”.
