What Makes Swizz So Good For Keys?

Just over a couple weeks ago media frenzy leaked news of Alicia Keys' pregnancy and engagement to Swizz Beats. A relationship that was kept under the media radar saw it's baby mama drama and consequent divorce between Swizz and his, then, wife of four years, Mashonda Tifrere. Now divorced since 2008.
Its unfamiliar for us to hear Keys' personal life made public. The down-to-earth, girl-next door who wooed us over the past decade with heart felt lyrics and sensual vocals voicing hits such as "You Don't Know My Name", "If I Ain' t Got You" and "No One", has done a pretty good job of staying out of the tabloids. Upon hearing the news its only natural for us, especially die hard fans, to ask the question - What makes Swizz so good for Keys? Island Fuse has identified a few areas where the two are highly compatible...

Background: The two come from by-racial, working class, single parent homes. This gives them a common, unspoken understanding of each other's struggles. Such level of understanding is helpful in any relationship. |

On top of this Swizz is yet to prove himself as a truly self-secure man who is able to shine dimly in the shadows of a superstar powerhouse entertainer like Keys. Only time will tell if their love will sustain as they thrive to overcome the daily obstacles life throws their way. |
